Khyber Shanvari Restaurant sealed for poor cleanliness

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food, Bilal Yaseen accompanied by officers of Food Authority during surprise raid at hotels on MM Alam Road imposed fine to Capri, Liberty Burger and Paragon while cleanliness and quality of food was found satisfactory at Bundo Khan and Buddis, Take Away. DG Food Authority Asad Aslam Mani also accompanied the Minister.

During the raid, Capri and Liberty Burger each were fined ten thousand rupees while a fine of eight thousand rupees was imposed on Paragon. Bilal Yasin said that due to the measures of Punjab government, the quality of food at restaurants has improved and the citizens are being provided food prepared in accordance with hygienic principles which is a good omen. He said that Punjab government is determined to provide food to the people free from adulteration and no institution or person will be allowed to play with the health of citizens.

Moreover, Food Safety Officer Data Ganj Bakhsh Town sealed Latif Milk Shop, Hera Milk Shop, Ashraf Milk Shop, DG Milk Shop and Sultan Bahoo Milk Shop for selling substandard milk and poor cleanliness condition.

Besides, Ali Oil Islampura was sealed for selling loose and substandard oil. Food Safety Officer Gulberg Town sealed Lasani Milk Shop Kotha Pind, on poor cleanliness and selling substandard milk. Khyber Pass Afghani Restaurant Faisal Town, Haji Darul Mahi Guru Manghat Road, Pizza Bite Hotel Model Town and Khyber Shanvari Restaurent Qazaffi Stadium were sealed for poor cleanliness condition dirty freezers and uncovered crockery.  Food Safety Officer Allama Iqbal Town sealed two branches of Husnain Milk Shop Bismillah Milk Shop on Raiwind Road for selling substandard milk.

Furthermore, Aslam Juice Corner, Usama Chicken Burger and Shawarma shop, Allah Hoo Restaurant and Milk Shop and Asli Baryani WAPDA Town were sealed due to poor cleanliness condition, dirty freezers,  and uncovered items.

Food Safety Officer Samnabad Town sealed two branches of Modern Milk Shop in Karim Block, Food Safety Officer Shalimar Town sealed Naeem Milk Shop and Rasheed Milk Shop in Susltanpura for selling substandard milk. Food Safety Officer Wagha Town sealed Asif Milk Shop in Naseer Abad for poor cleanliness condition and selling substandard milk.
