Police to utilize their full energies to curb the crime:SSP Ops Rana Abdul Jabbar

Lahore police showed excellent results during the Month of  November 2013, by arresting 90 accused of 32 gangs here in, Lahore and 104 cases have also been traced against them while more than 4.56 millions recovered from the gangs members, 815  POs & CAs also arrested in the same period.

According to details, DIG Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar directed Lahore police, to utilize their full energies to curb the crime in the city and to arrest the criminals involved in different unlawful activities.

On these directions all divisional police increased their efforts against criminals and showed excellent results during the month of November 2013 by arresting 90 criminals of 32 gangs who were involved in different heinous crimes, 608 POs, 207 CAs included A&B categories were also arrested.

During the November 245 cases registered against 240 accused on having illicit weapon and police also recovered 2-Kalashankoves, 5-rifles, 8-guns, 212revolvers & pistol’s, 8 daggers, 4-Cabine and 1003 bullets from their possession. During the action against drug dealers, 343 cases were registered and 350 culprits were arrested and 9kg778grm heroine, 74kg 515grm Chars, 510 opium and 3389 bottles of liquor recovered from them. Moreover, 100 cases were registered against gamblers and 464 accused arrested and also recovered betting amount more than 3-lacs.

In the same period during the special crackdown 338 cases were registered against 427 culprits on the violation of law.
