Lahore High Court on Wednesday took notice on a press report that four men molested the wife of a lawyer’s employee in a village named Nawan Lahore in Gojra precincts. District & Sessions Judge, Toba Tek Singh has been directed to look into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding steps taken by the local police along with his own comments.
According to details, the complainant resident of village 340-JB in Gojra’s Nawan Lahore who worked for a lawyer told that he and his wife were asleep in the outhouse adjacent to the farmland when four unidentified gunmen entered the compound by scaling its boundary wall. The intruders overpowered him and tied him up with a tree in the courtyard. He said the outlaws then subjected his wife to gang rape in front of him and fled away.
Gojra Police high-ups reached place of occurrence, got details of the crime and registered a case against unidentified culprits without no arrest so far.
LHC Complaint Cell took notice of the news on administrative side and directed the concerned D&SJ to look into the matter and submit report in a week.
