Lahore:Prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said we want to settle all the issues including Kashmir with India through dialogues.He was addressing the inaugural session of a three-day 4th Alhamra International Literary and Cultural Conference here at the Alhamra Hall.
Prime Minister said Pakistan have a friendly relations with all its neighbours including China,Iran and Afghanistan and wanted friendly ties with India and wished to settled all the issues including issue of Kashmir in a friendly manners.Visa problems should be resolved and firing at LoC should be stopped from both sides,We can not change our neighbours so we should at least learn to live with peace and harmony,he added.
Nawaz Sharif said we did not talked anti India during elections but Indian political parties were still campaigning against Pakistan to get more votes in their elections.Indian Media and political parties should left the Anti Pakistan campaign and work for friendship and better future of the region.
He said former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpai was a true statesman of India,,we were closed to settle all the issues through dialogues but unfortunately it could not happened. Now we have started from the point from talks were broken.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the government would surely achieve success in resolving economic issues and eliminating terrorism, though it would take time. He said all institutions, media and society would have to follow a uniform policy, play their role and refrain from politicizing national issues. The Prime Minister said Islam was being criticized for terrorism and extremism, which prompted the need to effectively highlight its true face. The conference, he observed, would help remove misconceptions about Islam. Presenting the real face of Islam was a great service, he added.
