Honesty is belief,rendering help to road users is our recognition

He expressed these views at passing out parade of trainee police officers  of NH&MP  at Motorway Police Training College Shaikhpura. IG motorways Zulfiqar cheema is inspecting passing out paradeZulfiqar Cheema said our force (NH&MP) is well prepared, equipped and trained enough to confront criminal elements on highways and motorways. The training, which plays crucial role in the success of any organization and helps in polishing skills and broadens the ambit of knowledge, is the foremost priority of the patrolling force.

DIG Mirza Shakil Ahmad, DIG Zubair Hashmai, DIG Muhmmaed Wasal Sultan, SSP Inksar Khan, SSP Faran Baig, SSP Nasir Satti, Commandant Training College Ather Wahid and other police officers were also present on the occasion.

IG Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema said NH&MP is known all over Pakistan for its courteous, well mannered and friendly dealing with the public. People from all segments of society, peers and life acknowledge the courteous dealing and it is imprinted on the minds of all NH&MP officers. These qualities are the matter of pride for us and we will protect it at any cost, he added.

He pleased to acknowledge that the Motorway Police enjoys distinguish status which other departments have not achieved yet. It is the only department upon which people of Pakistan trust ad we will never let them down. He said we would bring the good name of this department up to zenith.

IG said we have modified the training syllabus of the training college as per latest preferences and targets and it would help the trainee officers fix their direction.

He said the NH&MP training college would achieve the same standard like the force has achieved the status of a role model for other institutions. He hoped that 131 officers who have completed their training would ensure safety of human lives by controlling accidents side by side implementation of traffic laws. Earlier, IG Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema distributed commendation certificates and prizes. Acting Commandant Training College Athar Waheed presented introductory note about the college.

IGP Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema also held an operational meeting of all zonal commanders.
