Lahore: Punjab Government has decided to continue curfew in Rawalpindi after reviewing the whole situation in a high level meeting headed by CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif.A detailed briefing was given to CM including the riots ,casualties,injuries,losses,reasons and the confidential reports of the agencies that recommended continuity of the curfew till the situation become normal.
Punjab government has asked the people to remain in their homes and avoid to go out during curfew hours. Government has not soften the curfew and only two hours are given to the people for shopping. Routine commodities prices have been touching to the sky due to curfew,eggs were sold at a very high price of three hundred per dozen,potatoes on hundred Rs KG and milk hundred Rs liter.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan‚ Provincial Minister Colonel (Retd) Shujja Khanzada‚ Chief Secretary Punjab‚ Inspector General Punjab and other high officials attended the meeting.
