Musharraf to face trial under article 6

Lahore: Government has announced  to initiate the trial of former President and military dictator Pervez Musharraf’ under article 6 of the constitution.

JI has welcomed the  announcement in this regard, and said although this was a belated move yet it was welcome. He said this had been the unanimous demand of the nation who wanted the former president to be made an example for violating the constitution and making it a US slave. The trial of Pervez Musharraf would have far reaching effects on national politics and  in future, no military adventurer would dare to subvert the constitution, he added.
