Punjab government gives one million to A.Hameed family

On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Member National Assembly Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad and MPA Mian Mohsin Latif gave a cheque for Rs.10 lakh to the widow of renowned journalist and writer A. Hameed. A Hameed was a renowned writer and wrote many travelogues and after his demise his family was facing financial crisis.

While taking notice of the situation, the Chief Minister Punjab had directed to give financial assistance of Rs.10 lakh to the widow of late A. Hameed.
