GCDA welcomes khawaja Salman Rafique as Health Minister Punjab

Lahore: The President General Cadre Doctors Association (GCDA) dr Masood Akhtar sheikh congrats khawja Salman Rafique on assuming the charge as Health Minister Punjab, he was addressing the emergent meeting of GCDA on the issue of current changes in health department. He lauded that khawja Salman is a true Pakistani, an efficient and dutiful worker and his services for the patients and doctor’s community will be remembered.

GCDA lauded that the decision of appointing Khawja Salman as the new health minister will have a long lasting effects on Health Department. He said that khawja Salman know’s the inn & outs of the department, and his experience as special assistant to Chief Minister on health has given him edge over all other to be the most suitable candidate for this slot.

Dr Masood said that, he cares for the patient’s right, as well as has a soft and sympathetic attitude towards doctors of Punjab. Dr Masood sheikh louded  that the posting of Babar Hayyat Tarrar as new health secretary will bring a positive change, he carries a positive repute, and his service for new service structure can never be forgotten.

Dr Masood sheikh said that this is the time to materialize all the promises made by khawja salman in his last tenure. He said that there should be no delay in promotion of the officers’ from grade 19 t 20 and then grade 18 to 19 and then from grade 17 to 18 in that order. Dr Muhammad Ashraf demanded that long awaited promotion of the senior medical officer should be materialized at an earliest, and any help in this regard will be offered by us from the doctor’s community.
