Shahbaz Sharif shocked over martyrs philosophy of a religious leader

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the martyrs, sacrificing their lives in the war against terrorism for the protection of people and survival of the country, are benefactors of the nation.

In a statement here today, Shahbaz Sharif said that he was deeply shocked to read the statement of a leader of a religious political party with regard to these martyrdoms in the today’s newspapers. He said that more than fifty thousand people including innocent citizens, children, elders, youth, officers and jawans of Pak Army and police have sacrificed their lives in the war against terrorism. He said that such a statement by any political leader tantamount to adding insult to the injuries of the people.
