Lahore: High Commissioner of Bangladesh Suhrab Hossain called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here today. Matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and promotion of cooperation in various sectors were discussed during the meeting.
Talking to the Bangladeshi High Commissioner, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Bangladesh is a brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan and stressed the need for promoting trade relations between both the countries. He said that cooperation can be enhanced through exchange of trade delegations.
Suhrab Hossain expressing his views said that there is a need of taking further steps for promoting further cooperation in trade and other sectors between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Wife of High Commissioner of Bangladesh Mrs. Rawsanara, Honorary Consul General Qazi Humayun Farid and his wife Mrs. Irshad Humayun were also present on the occasion.
