LGH organizes workshop on Endoscopy

Lahore: A training workshop on Endoscopy was held at Lahore General Hospital with the collaboration of Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology, College of Physicians and Surgeons and Post Graduate Medical Institute and medical specialists from various districts were given training to observe stomach diseases through modern machines.

Principal Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra apprised the trainee doctors about the importance of workshop and threw light on the future training programmes of Post Graduate Medical Institute. Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab, Chairman Digestive Diseases Foundation said that the holding of hands on training workshops will continue in which the trainee doctors will be imparted training about various stomach diseases and other procedures.

Senior doctors including Prof. Anwaar A. Khan, Prof. Nusratullah Chaudhry, Dr. Israrul Haq Toor and Dr. Shumail Zafar also addressed the workshop and provided awareness to the trainee doctors about the techniques of endoscopy and diagnosis of diseases. M.S. Dr. Amjad Shehzad and other administrative doctors also attended the workshop.
