Drone attacks are against sovereignty and independence of Pakistan

Shahbaz Sharif2Lahore: Members of national and provincial assemblies belonging to various districts met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here today and apprised him of development projects and problems of the people of their respective areas. Provincial Minister for Agriculture Dr. Farrukh Javed presented a cheque for one million rupees to the Chief Minister for the relief and rehabilitation of earthquake affectees of Balochistan.

Talking to elected representatives, the Chief Minister said maintenance of law and order is the top priority of the government as it is essential to achieve the goal of national development. He said that drone attacks are against sovereignty and independence of Pakistan and added that terrorism has caused the most damage to Pakistan. He said that all out resources will be utilized for the development of the province and prosperity of the masses.

Shahbaz Sharif said that revolutionary steps were taken for the betterment of the people in the last tenure and even greater efforts are being made now for this purpose. He stressed upon elected represented to play their due role for the eradication of dengue and maintenance of law and order during Moharam ul Haram.

Those who met the Chief Minister included Provincial Ministers Asif Saeed Manais, Dr. Farrukh Javed, Members National Assembly Ch. Asad ur Rehman, Saeed Ahmed Khan Manais and Members Provincial Assembly Bao Akhtar Ali and Muhammad Nawaz Chohan.
