Minister for food raids at a hotel

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food, Bilal Yaseen and DG Food Authority raided a hotel situated at Thokar Niaz Beg and issued orders for immediately sealing the hotel due to unhygienic condition, rotten vegetables, meat and potatoes and registering a case against the owner of the hotel.

Bilal Yaseen said that provision of nutritional food is top priority of Punjab government. He warned that strict legal action would be taken against the persons involved in selling adulterated edibles and no leniency would be shown in this regard. He said that people are suffering from 90% diseases due to eating adulterated and unhygienic food. He advised the people to get information about the kitchens of the hotels before taking meal.
