Air Chief awards prizes among Squash Players

Lahore: Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, who is also the President Pakistan Squash Federation awarded cash prizes to Farhan Zaman, Danish Atlas and Tayyab Aslam for their brilliant performance in DG Rangers Sindh Open Squash Championship and CAS International Squash Championship.

The President PSF appreciated the performance of World No 81 Farhan Zaman from PAF for his victory in two consecutive international events. The President also lauded the efforts put in by World No 79 Danish Atlas Khan and World No 143 Tayyab Aslam for playing the finals of these championships.

Farhan Zaman is being completely sponsored by Pakistan Air Force during all PSA international tournaments in Pakistan and abroad.  After playing the CAS International at Peshawar, Farhan Zaman is presently in USA in line with PSF’s United States program where he would be participating in a series of international tournaments during the next quarter of the year.  His air traveling, boarding, lodging and sports gear for the above tournaments has been arranged by Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Squash Federation.

 

The President PSF reiterated that PSF would continue sponsoring top squash players for improving their world rankings. He urged the players to keep on working hard and bring more laurels for the country.
