Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and central leader Moonis Elahi have urged the people to pledge to offer any sacrifice for Pakistan while commemorating Sunnah-e-Ibrahimi, last sermon on Hajj of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) is the beacon light for all of us.
In their separate messages on the auspices occasion of Eid-ul-Azha issued here today, the PML leaders have said that in the moments of happiness of Eid we should also remember the people hit by natural calamities as well as poor, destitute and other deserving persons, problems and difficulties of the people are increasing with every passing day, prayers should be offered before Almighty Allah for ending ever-increasing dearness of essential and other articles, lawlessness and other problems.
Extending heartfelt felicitations to those performing Hajj, they said that we the Muslims are quite fortunate that Almighty Allah have blessed us with yet another opportunity to commemorate Sunnah-e-Hazrat Ibrahim and offer sacrifice of animals according to our capacity, the lesson which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had given in his sermon on his first and last Hajj is the message of riddance not only for the Muslims but also for the entire humanity.
They said further that we should today pledge to strictly continue adhering and practicing the Sunnah-e-Rasool (PBUH) without showing any laxity so that we can make Pakistan haven of peace and prosperity according to the principles of Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and are able to transform it into such an Islamic welfare State which should be ideal centre for guidance for the whole world instead of criticism and humiliation. They sought and prayed to Almighty Allah for success in this world and the world hereinafter.
