PTI will challenge Local Government Act in courts

Lahore: Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmood ul Rasheed has said that all the opposition parties had  rejected non political basis  local bodies elections ,he was talking to media at a ceremony that was held in the honor of newly elected MPA’s from south Punjab,here in Gulberg Lahore.

Mian Mehmood u Rasheed said we have decided to challenge the Local Bodies Act in courts as it was against the constitution. Artical 140 clearly says that local bodies should have administrative and financial powers but CM Punjab has all the powers by this unconstitutional act,he maintained.

He said PML-N government’s 90 days were the worst ever sort of government in the history of Pakistan,PML-N promised to control the price-hike in the elections but they were boosting price-hike  day and night.Their promised to eliminate poverty but now they were busy to eliminate the poor.

At the occasion,MPA Ali Raza deraishak and Ahmad Ali Deraishak thanked the party leadership for giving them party tickets.
