Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has been taking notes continuously while sitting at the stage during a function held in the honor of position holder male and female students at Chief Minister’s Office and made extempore speech instead of written one.
Such position holder male and female students participated in the function who besides getting education, also earn livelihood for their family through labour. The audience astonished while listening to the story of success of the poor children. Iyaz Ahmed who belongs to Jampur, the electoral constituency of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, told that after paralysis attack to his father, he has been plying rickshaw for earning livelihood for his family and also continued his education.
He said that when the Chief Minister had visited Jampur during flood of 2010, he was continuing his education in a difficult situation. The Chief Minister appreciated the hard work of Iyaz and embraced him. Mohsin Ali, resident of Hafizabad and position holder of BA, informed that he cooked breads on a tandoor and also continued his education. Mohsin Ali thanked the Chief Minister Punjab that he not only gave a prize of Rs. 10 lakh but also gifted him his tie and shirt and encouraged him by visiting Hafizabad.
The Chief Minister sang a song “Choo Lo Aasman, Tum Ho Pakistan” along with the students at the end of the function. The Chief Minister criticized in a lighter mood without naming any political party during his speech said that during general elections, all analysis proved wrong. He said that on the morning of May 11, when the results were announced, the people rejected red, black Goggles and smart bags and wrote a new history by giving glorious victory to PML-N. Shahbaz Sharif said that it was not his achievement but the Allah Almighty accepted his humble services and the people elected PML-N through votes.
