Minister takes notice of a theft in DHQ Hospital Mandi Bahauddin

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Health Khalil Tahir Sindhu has said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is taking revolutionary steps for public welfare but paying special attention to health sector. He said that funds of billions of rupees, modern machinery and medicines have been provided to the people for provision of healthcare facilities to the people.

He expressed these views while paying surprise visit to District Headquarters Hospital Mandi Bahauddin, Children Hospital and Moong Rural Health Centre. Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din, President Anjuman-e-Markazi Tajraan, representatives of print and electric media were also present.

The Minister took strict notice of non-operational air-conditioned and the other which was stolen. He asked MS to provide a copy of FIR of the air-conditioned that was stolen and directed to make the non-operational air-conditioned as functional within two days. He also inspected different sections of the hospital including male and female wards, emergency, children and nursery wards. He inquired after the patients and asked about the available facilities. The patients informed that Minister that they have to purchase all the medicines from market. The Minister expressed dissatisfaction over non availability of bed charts and ordered to immediately display bed charts of all the patients.
