Old Anarkali Police register a case for creating scene

Lahore: On the complaint of an Additional Registrar, Old Anarkali Police has registered a case against accused persons and started preventive proceedings for creating rowdy-behavior in LHC and will send the complaint to the court of Magistrate shortly. Under the code of criminal procedure Magistrate is competent to initiate proceeding against persons for disturbing public peace.

According to details, Naeem Akram, hailing from Pakpattan had contracted marriage with Sonia Bibi of Lahore against the will of her parents and girl’s family had got registered a kidnap case against Naeem. On May 31, 2013, couple had come to appear before the Court of an Hon’ble Judge, girl’s relatives including Muhammad Sarwar, Muhammad Ashiq, Tariq, Akram, Aashiq, Sabir, Imran and their unknown accomplices attacked them and beat them severely. However, Police present at the spot interfered and controlled the situation.

Now police has completed the complaint on creating a scene in the court premises and will send it to the court of Magistrate. Regular proceedings of the case will commence shortly. It may be mentioned that courts premises are meant for providing security and peace to the visiting people and there is stern punishment in the law to deal with any untoward incident.
