Punjab thrashed all provinces to lead Karate Finals

Lahore:  Punjab excelled in the finals of the PSB Inter Provincial U-14 Boys Karate Finals here at Iqbal Park Sports Complex today.

Punjab scored 120 points to win Gold medal.Sindh bagged silver with 105 points.Khyber Pakhtunkhua grabbed third position and bronze medal with 45 points while Fata got 25 points with fourth place.

In the events held there today,44 KG’s category: Shabih-e-Raza of Sindh grabbed gold medal.Mohammed Sohail of Punjab secured silver,Atif Khan of Fata and Farhan of KPK got bronze medals.In the other 44 Kg’s category,Shah Faisal of Sindh bagged gold,Mohammed Mohib of Punjab attained silver while Kamrosh Akram of KPK and Fata’s Naseeb Khan got bronze medals.In 48 KG’s, Ali Hassan of Punjab achieved gold medal,Shahbaz Khan of Sindh won silver whereas Aurangzeb of Fata and Usama of KPK managed  bronze medals.

The Director Sports Jalil Ahmed Chohan was the chief guest to distribute trophies and certificates among the winners.Tariq Maqsood Wattoo and Farhat Ehsan  were the guests including  Shahid Attique,Arslan Butt,Anayat ullah  while Abdul Quyum was the team coach and  Bashir Butt ,the Manager .
