Lahore: The Iranian ambassador in Pakistan, Ali Reza Haghighian, called on the Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, at Mansoora on Sunday, and discussed with him the regional situation besides matters concerning Iran and Pakistan. He was accompanied by the Iranian Consul General, Bani Asadi.
The Iranian envoy also extended an invitation to the JI Ameer for a visit to his country, on behalf of the Iranian government.
JI Foreign Affairs wing chief, Abdul Ghaffar Aziz, was also present.
