Imran Khan would lead PTI in National Assembly

Lahore: Pakistan Tehrek e Insaf has decided that Party president Javaid Hashmi would face Mian Nawaz Sharif in National Assembly for premiership contest where as Chairman Imran Khan would be the parliamentary leader. Shaharyar Afridi and Munazaa Hasan would contest for Speaker and deputy Speaker seats.These decisions were taken in high level party meeting presided by Imran Khan.

After the meeting,Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and central leader Shafqat Mehmood briefed the media about the decisions and said PTI would play a positive opposition role in and outside the assemblies.They said ECP should provide justice to every party,where rigging was admitted by ECP,there should be new elections under the military control.They said they were protesting against rigging so no one could dare to theft the public mandate in by-elections and local bodies elections.
