CM’s protocol officer was not arrested at the airport:Spokesman

Lahore: The spokesman of the Punjab government has strongly contradicted the news item appearing in a section of the press that the security or protocol officer of Chief Minister was arrested at the airport for carrying weapon and later released.

Describing the news item as totally baseless and misleading, the spokesman said that no such incident had occurred in the premises of Lahore Airport nor ASF Authorities had taken security or protocol officer of caretaker Chief Minister into custody.

The spokesman further clarified that as no incident of arrest and release of the security or protocol officer of the caretaker Chief Minister had taken place, therefore, question of informing the Chief Minister in this regard did not arise.
