Now gastro start taking lives of the patients

Lahore: A spokesman of Health Department Punjab has said that 18 patients including ten children suffering from gastro and diarrhea have visited Nishtar Hospital Multan.

He said that coming of diarrhea patients to a hospital in such a large number during summer season is a routine matter and all patients are being provided treatment facilities and looked after properly.

The spokesman further clarified that the information regarding 400 patients of gastro in Nishtar Hospital Multan is not correct. He said that Secretary Health Punjab Arif Nadeem at the start of summer season had issued instructions to officials of Health Department and all government hospitals to make arrangements for the treatment of gastro patients.

The spokesman advised the people to wash their hands before taking meal and avoid rotten fruits and substandard soft drinks for saving themselves from gastro and diarrhea.
