Cleanliness is the best solution against dengue:Farooq Hameed

Lahore: Director General Environment Punjab Farooq Hameed Sheikh has asked all departments to remain fully alert against dengue and the process of cleanliness, spray and larvaciding be expedited.

He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting at Wahga Town against dengue. All concerned officers attended the meeting. Farooq Hameed Sheikh said that all departments should improve their weekly performance and buildings of schools and government offices should be especially inspected. He said that there is a threat of dengue during coming days, therefore, all departments should remain active against dengue. Director General Environment visited Sky Land Park and Sozo Housing Scheme at Jalo Park. Concerned staff of PHA accompanied him. He directed the staff to ensure cleanliness of all parks situated in Wahga Town and warned that no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
