Tariq Pervaiz appreciates police for holding”fair” elections

Lahore: Care taker Interior Minister Punjab, Tariq Pervaiz, today, visited Central Police Office Punjab, Lahore.

IGP PHP, Sohail Ahmad Khan, AddI. IGP, R&D Altaf Hussain, AddI. AddI. IGP, Traffic Punajb, Kalb-e-Abas AddI.IGP, CTD/Punjab, Nasir Khan Durrani, AddI. IGP Special Branch Punajb, Khan Baig, DIG Headquarters, Muhammad Amlish, DIG Establishment Amjad Javeed Saleemi, DIG Operations Punjab Rai Muhammad Tahir, DIG R&D Salman Ch, DIG Training, Tariq Masood Yaseen, DIG Welfare, Shafique Ahmad, CCPO Lahore, Khaliq Dad Lak, DIG Operations Lahore, Jawad Ahmad Dogar, DIG Investigation, Lahore, Zulfiqar Hameed, and AIG Admin Sikhandar Hayat, AIG Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi, and Muhammad Ali Naikokara were also present.

While talking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the efforts of IGP and Punjab Police for holding free, fair and impartial elections, in Province.

Provincial Police Chief Aftab Sultan said that in present circumstances holding of General Elections was a big challenge for them. But with the Grace of Almighty ALLAH he and his team accepting this challenge performed their duties very diligently and successfully.

He also said that this could be only possible with the support of all Police Officers/ Officials.

After that, Interior Minister Punjab along with IGP visited the Control / monitoring room in CPO Punjab. Lahore. IGP briefed the Interior Minister in detail regarding the working of Control room.
