Care-takers enhanced security for Sharif’s

Lahore: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister, Najam Sethi has ordered immediate strengthening of the security of President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Nawaz Sharif, former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and their family. He has issued necessary instructions to IG Police Punjab in this regard.

In response to the orders of Chief Minister, the security of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and their family has been tightened and additional police force has been deputed for this purpose.

The Chief Minister has also directed IG Police Punjab to make further arrangements for the security of the leader of Tehrik-e-Insaaf, Imran Khan inside and outside Shaukat Khanum Hospital after which more police personnel have been deployed.

The Chief Minister said that these measures have been taken to provide foolproof security to the national leaders. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Najam Sethi has said that the massive turnout of voters in the province reflected the confidence of the people in the foolproof arrangements made by the caretaker Punjab government for the transparent and peaceful conduct of elections.

Najam Sethi also congratulated the people of the province for displaying exemplary discipline on the election day.
