Shaukat Lalika withdraws in favour of Moonis Elahi in PP-118

Lahore: Independent candidate for Punjab Assembly constituency PP-118 from Mandi Bahauddin Shaukat Nawaz Lalika off Bar Moosa has announced his withdrawal in favour of Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and candidate from the constituency Moonis Elahi.

He made the announcement in a big gathering in Bar Moosa in which former Tehsil Nazim Malikwal Haji Irshad and Ch Yar Muhammad were also present along with hundreds of their workers and supporters.

Ch Shaukat Nawaz took this decision after meeting with Sajid Ahmad Khan Bhatti, Ch Muhammad Nawaz Lalika, Liaquat Ali Bhatti, Khalid Parvez Sindhu and other leaders of Pakistan Muslim League.

He said that he along with all his colleagues will run full campaign in support of Moonis Elahi and firmly stand with him. He said that his (Moonis Elahi) success is certain from this constituency because Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi have done unprecedented works for the progress, development and prosperity of the area and welfare and well-being of the poor and common man.
