Number of officers transferred in Punjab before elections

Lahore: Punjab governemnt has transferred number of officers just 4 days before the general elections.According to the notification, Rashida Malik, Chairperson, Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has been transferred and posted as Secretary to government of the Punjab, Management & Professional Development Department (MPDD) against a vacant post.

Nadeem Hassan Asif, Vice Chairman Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) has been entrusted the additional charge of the post of Chairperson TEVTA in addition to his own duties.

Sajid Yoosufani, Commissioner, Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) has been transferred and posted as Secretary to government of the Punjab, Special Education Department against a vacant post.

Mrs. Fehmida Mushtaq, Member (Enquiries Services & General Administration Department, government of the Punjab has been transferred and posted as Secretary to government of the Punjab, Social Welfare & Bait ul Maal Department, against a vacant post.

Muhammad Javed Ilyas, Chief Engineer, Lahore Ring Road Authority, Lahore has been transferred and posted as Chief Engineer, Punjab Highways Department (South Zone) Lahore against a vacant post.

Muhammad Ashraf, Chief Engineer / Executive District Officer (W&S) Lahore has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Chief Engineer, Lahore Ring Road Authority Lahore.

Nasir Jalal, Executive District Officer, (Works & Services), Sheikhupura has been transferred and posted as Superintending Engineer Provincial Buildings Circle, Sahiwal against a vacant post.

Saadat Badar, District Officer (Buildings), Sheikhupura has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Executive District Officer (Works & Services, Sheikhupura.

Sanction has been accorded to the grant of thirty days ex-Pakistan leave from May 9, 2013 to June 07, 2013 in favour of Iftikhar Qutab, Chairperson, Punjab Revenue Authority Lahore.

Dr. Arshad Mehmood, Special Secretary, Finance Department has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Chairperson Punjab Revenue Authority, Lahore during the leave period of Iftikhar Qutab.

Muhammad Moeen Akhtar, Additional Programme Director, Punjab Health Sector Reforms Programme under Health Department, government of the Punjab has been transferred and posted as Director in Directorate of Women Development Punjab Lahore against a vacant post.

Zaheer Abbas, Additional Programme Director Collector district Okara has been transferred and posted as Additional Programme Director Punjab Health Sector, Reforms Programme under Health Department, government of the Punjab on deputation vice Muhammad Moeen Akhtar, transferred.

Muhammad Iqbal Khokhar, Executive District Officer (Works & Services), Sargodha has been transferred and posted as Executive District Officer (Works & Services), Chakwal vice Muhammad Tariq Naveed, transferred.

Meanwhile,Inspector General of Police Punjab, Aftab Sultan has issued transfer/posting orders of 04 police officers.

According to details, Jamat Ali Bukhari, SP Investigation, Chakwal is transferred and posted as Addl: SP Rawal Town, Rawalpindi, Rana Javed Iqbal, awaiting posting is transferred and posted as Addl: SP CRO, Lahore, whereas, Hanif Ahmad Addl: SP Rawal Town, Rawalpindi and Haseeb Hussain Shah, SP CIA, Rawalpindi has been closed to Central Police Office Punjab, Lahore with immediate effect.

Meanwhile,Punjab government has appointed Dr. Ajmal Haider Shah, Deputy Managing Director Punjab Seed Corporation as Acting Managing Director. Office-bearers of Punjab Seed Corporation Association, Headquarter & Field Unions have congratulated Dr. Ajmal Haider Shah on the appointment as Acting Managing Director. Dr. Ajmal Haider assured the staff that he would discharge his duties efficiently. He said that if the farmers have any complaint against the procurement staff, they can contact him directly.
