Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hassan, has expressed deep grief over the killing of more than twenty Islamists in Dhaka by the state machinery during protests against the BD Prime Minister’s anti Islam policies.
He has appealed to the OIC members to exercise their influence for steering Bangladesh out of the present crisis.

In a statement here on Monday, he said that millions of the people associated with about 18 political and religious organizations in Bangladesh were on roads for months to protest against Haseena Wajid’s anti Islam policies. They were being brutally treated by the state machinery which was tantamount of war against Bangladesh itself. He said the happenings of the 1971 were being exploited against the religious and patriotic people of the country and had created a political wedge between the people which was bound to have disastrous consequences.

The JIP Ameer, said that Haseena Wajid government was serving the Indian agenda by torturing the religious minded people in the country ,but the people of Bangladesh wont tolerate that.
