Lahore: The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and a local university have joined hands to support and promote women entrepreneurs.
An agreement has been signed in this regard while a Creative Industry Centre and Image Bank has been established at the Islamabad campus of the university.
Top officials of both institutions and large number of women entrepreneurs including fashion designers and students were present at the occasion of signing ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion the representatives of UNIDO, First Women Bank and the educational institution said that fashion designing has become an important tool for rapid economic development.
