Taliban rule Lahore, the terror of Taliban in the metropolitan city of Punjab increases

Lahore:Though terror of Taliban was feeling every where in Pakistan due to blasts and killings but metropolitan city of the Punjab “Lahore” was facing different face of it.According to the reliable sources Taliban have received more than hundred millions in ransom while five people have been killed for not paying the demanded money in recent past.
Police could do nothing except to register the cases.

People were still receiving threats and calls for ransom but nobody was there to protect them.A famous trader of Multan road was kidnapped and later was being released after receiving 5 millions , another trader of Badami bagh was killed for not paying ransom and now his brother was receiving threats.Police have all the info but not a single accused could be arrested.

People were scared and finding government,law enforcing agencies in the provincial metropolis but failed in it.They have only two options ,pay money to Taliban or embraced martyrdom.

DIG Investigation office has verified that five people have been killed for not paying ransom by Taliban in the city and more than 20 cases have been registered of receiving threats for ransom in a year.It was unfortunate that not a single case could be traced.When asked all the case were registered that were being informed to the police ,the officer said at at least five hundred time complains were not made the part of the official record as compared to registered cases.
