BC is providing learning opportunities to the youth of Pakistan:Director Operations Examinations Pakistan

Lahore: British Council is committed to build strong cultural relationship between Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) and provide learning opportunities to the youth of Pakistan. It has initiated a wide range of special activities for linking the youth of Pakistan to study in UK.

This initiative would increase the level of literacy in the country and strengthen mutual cooperation of the two countries in other trades also.

British Council and Edexcel organized a joint session here in Islamabad which was attended by Imtiaz Razvi, Director Operations Examinations Pakistan, British Council, Dr. David Davies, Director of Stakeholder Management, Edexcel, Ms. Premila Paulraj Canitius, Assistant Vice President, Edexcel Academics – Subcontinent, Edexcel International teams along with Directors/Heads of leading schools of Islamabad and Rawalpindi including Froebel’s, Roots, City, Shaikzaid and other representatives of schools.

Pearson, world’s leading education company adds to Edexcel’s strengths by offering an array of content and technology-led solutions to schools while helping them match international standards of education.

While addressing a joint seminar on the Latest Trends in UK Qualifications and Curriculum, Imtiaz Razvi, Director Operations Examinations Pakistan, British Council said, Pearson – Edexcel qualifications would provide a learning opportunity to the children in UK qualifications and curriculum.

The UK Education eco system is going through a phase of transition so are qualifications and curriculum which is followed world over. Edexcel has announced the opening of new centres, training sessions, and webinars for students as a career guidelines.

Edexcel being the largest awarding body in UK qualifications and curriculum is well recognised globally and schools affiliated with Edexcel are supported fully to ensure the delivery of qualifications in a quality environment.

Speaking at the seminar, David Davies, Director of Stakeholder Management, Edexcel said, Pearson-Edexcel is proud to have taken this initiative to update the international community about the latest trends in UK curriculum and qualifications as we are aware that a lot of students from Pakistan take pride in achieving a UK qualification due to its rigour and international acceptance.
