Religious harmony is need of the hour :Jamshed Rehmat

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs and Human Rights Jamshed Rehmat Ullah has said that promotion of religious harmony and tolerance is need of the hour and all the religions of the world give lesson of peace and brotherhood.

He was addressing a seminar on the topic of inter-religion harmony at a local hotel, here today. Khateeb Badshahi Masjid Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Pastor Anwar Fazal, Pastor Theo and others also spoke on the occasion.

The Minister said that we will have to promote religious harmony and brotherhood for making the country a haven of peace. He said that government fully supports all efforts aimed at promotion of peace and tolerance. A condemnation resolution was also adopted in the seminar on Joseph Colony incident.
