People are all praise for the judiciary:Justice Sardar Tariq Masood

Lahore High Court (1)Lahore: Justice Mr. Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Senior Judge of Lahore High Court, Lahore, has said that today people look towards Judiciary and have faith in it. It the past people used to talk against the Judiciary but today due to its impartial role, people are all praise for the judiciary.

Hon’ble Judge was addressing a concluding ceremony of Capacity Building Training Course designed for Judicial Magistrates at Punjab Judicial Academy.

Hon’ble Justice said that Judicial Magistrates are first step of the ladder in the system of dispensation of justice. Therefore, judicial officers should be extra careful so that technical faults may not crept in the cases. These minor lacunae usually benefit the criminals and aim of the training being imparted at the Academy is to remove these errors. You should avoid such mistakes and carry out all court proceedings right from identification parade to the recording of statements under your active supervision and get recorded the statements of all the witnesses carefully .

Hon’ble Justice underlined the need of having full grasp over Qanoon-e-Shahdat in order to get effective statements from the witnesses. He advised the judges to render judgments with devotion and fear Almighty Allah in mind.

Director General Punjab Judicial Academy, Mr. Justice (R) Syed Jamshed Ali and course representative Mr. Shaukat Hayat also spoke on the occasion.

Justice Tariq Masood gave away certificates to participants of the course who include Judicial Magistrates, Ezat Nageen, Iram Sharif, Saif Ullah Tarar, Muhammad Inshaullah Naeed Sadiq, Albasit Mudassar Ali, Allah Yar Bhatti, Rana Shahzad Ashraf, Muhammad Ali, Rana Shafique ur Rehman, Muhammad Naveed Ashraf Awan, Ahsin Raza, Faisal Naeem Mir, Ejaz Ahmad Imtiaz, Akhtar Ali, Hasnain Ahmad Anwar, Abdul Mannan Qureshi, Shaukat Ali, Azmat Hayat, Shaukat Hayat, Taswar Iqbal, Muhammad Zareef, Taimur Afzal, Aabid Islam, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Ahmad Qadri.
