DG Radio Pakistan Murtaza Solangi call on Najam Sethi

Lahore: Director General Radio Pakistan Murtaza Solangi called on Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here today. During the meeting, matters regarding access to information by the people and role of Radio Pakistan came under discussion.

Talking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi said radio is an effective medium of mass communication and its role can never be ignored even in modern era. He said radio provides vital information to the people, living in far-flung areas, which other mass media cannot reach. He said radio has a fundamental importance in the electronic media, and Radio Pakistan is playing an important role in providing timely information to the general public.
