PMA Lahore and Mortien Pakistan arranges Marathon

Lahore: PMA Lahore and Mortien Pakistan arranged today the 2nd PMA Lahore Marathon in the series of awareness against Dengue. Doctors, students, National Athletes and a large number of common men participated. PTI leader and ex-president PMA Pakistan Prof. Dr. Yasmin Rashid was the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami, Dr. Inam ul Haq EDO Health and Dr. Nizwan Naseer participated as special guests.

On the spot literature for awareness against dengue was distributed and expert described the preventive measures and treatment methods. They recommended frequent use of mosquito replecant and insect sidal suprays in homes which is the best prevention.
Popular young singer Syed Nouman Zaidi delighted the participants with his beautiful songs.

Medels & cash prizes were awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positionists in each category of 6 categories.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid paid homage to the struggles of PMA and doctors against Dengue, she advised people to act apon the doctors instructions in this regard and also share these with their families, relatives and friends. She also thanked Mortien on their help and efforts in welfare activities of PMA.

In the last, Dr. M. Tanveer Anwer President and Dr. Izhar Ahmad Ch. General Secretary PMA Lahore thanked all the participants especially Electronic & Press Meid, District Govt., PHA and Rescue 1122 who made the Marathon successful.
