N-League ticket holder Waqar Gilani opponent of Moonis Elahi joins PML

Lahore: N-League ticket holder from PP-110 opponent of Moonis Elahi, Syed Waqar Hussain Gilani has announced to join Pakistan Muslim League (PML) along with all N-League leaders, office-bearers and his colleagues from the constituency. He made the announcement while talking to the media along with PML senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi and Rasikh Elahi here today. He said that this decision has been taken in consultation with colleagues keeping in view the great appreciable services rendered for whole of Punjab and in particular Gujrat.

He said that victory of Ch Pervaiz Elahi from NA-105 against Ahmad Mukhtar on the basis of his meritorious services and of Moonis Elahi on Provincial Assembly seat, Insha-Allah, with big majority is sure. He said we along with our family members, colleagues and followers will always fully support Ch Shujat Hussain, Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi. Welcoming Waqar Gilani and his colleagues in the party, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that the present election will be contested on the basis of performance, media should also guide the people in this regard, people should compare his tenure with that of Shahbaz Sharif prior to casting their votes whether they want to vote for those who fulfilled their promises or those who backed out of their promises made to the people, we did record development works all over the Punjab including Lahore and Gujrat without any discrimination in committed and dedicated manner, gave gifts like 1122 Service, University of Gujrat and Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital, we constructed Ring Road in Lahore and they started “Jangla” bus service making whole of Punjab “kangla”.He said that the people have very clearly seen that we had worked during our tenure of five years and others just kept talking, singing songs and reciting nazams.

Ch PervaiPhoto CPE 01 {Apr02-13}z Elahi said that electioneering will pick up tempo after April 18 as the candidates presently are busy in connection with their nomination papers. He said that we had already asked the Election Commission and the caretaker Chief Minister that for holding of free and fair election in the Punjab it is essential that entire bureaucracy should be changed.

Replying to a question, he said that accounts of our party are maintained under a regular system and these are audited every year. In reply to another question, he said that Nawaz Sharif had gone abroad after striking a ten year deal but still he kept saying that there is no deal, then agreed on seven years, if there was no deal then why did he spent ten years in Jeddah?

Ch Parvez Elahi said that seat adjustment with Peoples Party and electoral alliance with Sunni Ittehad Council are going on smoothly and together we will secure big success in the general elections.
