Wheat procurement campaign will continue :Dir.Food Muhammad Usman

Lahore: Spokesman of Food Department Punjab has said that Director Food Capt.(Retd) Muhammad Usman will start visiting various districts with regard to wheat procurement campaign.

In the first phase, he will visit Attock and Chakwal and meet representatives of farmers’ organizations in order to achieve wheat procurement target. He will also review arrangements made for procurement of wheat.

The spokesman informed that as per the statistics of Agriculture Department Punjab, this year wheat produce is better than the previous year in the barani areas. He said that the wheat would be procured from the small cultivators on priority basis so that they could get due return of their produce.
