9 Drs of PGMI promoted as AP on regular basis

Lahore: Health Department government of the Punjab has promoted nine doctors of Post Graduate Medical Institute as Associate Professor on regular basis in Grade-19.

The doctors who are promoted on the post of associate professor included Dr. Rafique Ahmed Basharat (medicine), Dr. Abdul Hayye (ophthalmology), Dr. Afsar Ali Bhatti and Dr. Muhammad Zahid (Surgery), Dr. Naila Tariq and Dr. Farrah Yousaf (Obst & Gynae), Dr. Altaf Qadir Khan (Psychiatry) and Dr. Rozina Jaffer (Pathology). On the regularization of their services the doctors have been allowed to continue their duties on the present place of posting. Meanwhile, office-bearers of Medical Teachers Association Prof. Dr. Israr Ahmed and Prof. Dr. Sikandar Hayat Gondal congratulated the doctors on their promotion as associate professor and hoped that they will discharge their duties in the best interest of medical profession as well as for the welfare of the patients.
