Imran Khan condoles on the death of senior columnist Khalid Ahmad

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, senior leaders Asad Umar, Jahangir Khan Tareen, Shafqat Mahmood and Ayla Malik have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of senior columnist and poet Khalid Ahmed.

In his condolence message issued here on Tuesday, Imran Khan and other party leaders said that Khalid Ahmed was a great poet and an eminent columnist and his contributions in both the fields were unparalleled. The PTI leaders said that Khalid Ahmad’s writings covered the issues of common people and also defended the ideology of Pakistan.

Imran Khan said that Khalid Ahmed’s demise was a great loss for the nation, as he always raised his voice for the redressal of the sufferings of common people through his writings.

The PTI leaders extended their sincere condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in the eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
