Shahbaz Sharif inaugurates Kalsoom Nawaz Ladies Park at Sabzazar

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that beautiful parks have been constructed throughout the province for providing recreational facilities to the people. He said that jogging track, gym, children play area, solar lights, canteen and walking tracks have been constructed in these parks. He said that separate parks have been constructed for ladies where best recreational facilities have been provided. He said that Kalsoom Nawaz Ladies Park spread over an area of 44 kanals has been completed in a record period of three months which is a gift for the ladies of the area.

He was talking to the party workers, media men and women after inaugurating Kalsoom Nawaz Ladies Park at Sabzazar today. Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Mian Marghoob Ahmad, MPA Mehar Ishtiaq Ahmad, DG PHA, a large number of party workers as well as children and women were present on this occasion. Shahbaz Sharif expressed his pleasure while inaugurating the sixth ladies park in Lahore constructed at a cost of Rs.2.25 crore where best recreational facilities have been provided to the women. Ladies gym, children play area, solar lights, canteen and jogging tracks have been constructed in this park. He also congratulated DG PHA and his staff for constructing a best park. Replying to a question of media men, he said that PML-N has proposed the names of best and honest persons for caretaker setup in center and Punjab whereas PPP is objecting over it unnecessarily. He said that the process of further consultation for caretaker setup is also continuing in the party.

Earlier, when Chief Minister arrived at Sabzazar Park, he was accorded a warm welcome. Women and children raised slogans; “Shahbaz Sharif—Zindabad”. The Chief Minister inaugurated the park and gave away certificates to the PHA employees who displayed outstanding performance. He also visited the park and reviewed the recreational facilities.
