Five years of corruption, poor governance ends: JI

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the five year anti-people rule of the PPP led coalition marked with corruption, poor governance, and terrorism had finally ended because of which the country faced numerous challenges at the internal as well as external fronts.

He said the outgoing rulers had driven the country away from its ideology, promoted corruption, nepotism, exploitation and injustice and ruined the national institutions. He was addressing corner meetings in the city on Sunday.

Liaqat Baloch said that the address of the Prime Minister to the nation last evening was that of a person who was totally ignorant of the problems and the miseries of the people.

He said that the enforcement of the Islamic order was the only solution to the problems facing the country, including terrorism and bigotry.
