Punjab to celebrate tolerance day on 15th of March

Lahore: Juma tul Mubarak will be celebrated on March 15 as Youm-e-Rawadari (Day of Tolerance) in the province and Khutaba of all mosques have been informed to give the message of religious tolerance, harmony and brotherhood in Juma Sermons and highlight the Islamic Concept of mutual respect, unity, amity and peace in the society.

It may be mentioned that the decision to observe Youm-e-Rawadari was taken in a meeting of leading Ulema, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. Auqaf Department Punjab has sent a circular to Badshahi Masjid, Jamia Masjid Darbar Hazrat Data Gung Bukhsh as well as appealed to Khutba of other mosques to take part in this national and religious Cause and observe Youm-e-Rawadari in a befitting manner.
