Imran Khan’s politics is strange:Senator Pervaiz Rashid

Lahore: Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Imran Khan’s politics is strange and instead of trouble-makers, he criticizes those who take remedial measures. He said that in his passion for oratory, Imran Khan even goes to the extent of leveling baseless charges.

In his statement, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that as far as Gojra incident was concerned Imran Khan can verify from his lawyers that Punjab government not only arrested the accused but also fulfilled its constitutional responsibilities by presenting their challans in the court of law. However, the parties reconciled and the cases were withdrawn and the accused were acquitted. Pervaiz Rashid further stated that Imran Khan should also clarify that when he went to meet the affectees of Badami Bagh incident what did he do to mitigate their sufferings or the purpose of his visit was only to get media coverage.
