A delegation of FPCCI visits metro bus project

Lahore: An 8-member delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry led by SM Munir visited metro bus project today and traveled by bus from Qaddafi Stadium to Azadi Chowk. The prominent industrialists and trading personalities included SM Munir, Anwaar A Sheikh, Mian Zahid Hussain, Raja Ilyas and others. On this occasion, Provincial Minister Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, Zaeem Hussain Qadri, Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan, Hafiz Nauman, Members Provincial Assembly, DCO Lahore and high ranking officers were present.

During the journey, members of the delegation while talking said that metro bus project is a revolutionary step in the transport sector upon which Chief Minister Punjab deserves appreciations. They said that metro bus is a splendid project and best travelling facilities are being provided to the common man at very low fare. They said that Punjab government has taken revolutionary steps in transport, education, health and other sectors.

They said that the local and foreign investors have made investment in Punjab for improving the economy of the country upon which the performance of Punjab government is laudable. Members of the delegation further said that there is a need of adopting patriotic approach for pursuing comprehensive policy for strengthening economy. They said that Chief Minister Punjab has a unique identity due to his hard work and excellent performance which is an honour for Punjab government. Special Assistant Zaeem Hussain Qadri and Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan gave a detailed briefing about metro bus project.
