Politics must be neutral like cricket:Imran Khan

IMran Khan3Abottabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday called for appointing a non-political individual as caretaker prime minister of the country, stating that the criminals were ruling the roost and terrorists were killing the people in broad daylight and no one was safe from Karachi to Waziristan.

Addressing public gatherings in Haripur, Hawailian and Abbottabad regarding the PTI’s mass contact drive, Imran Khan said that President Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were known for playing the notorious game of ‘Noora-kushti’ due to which they damaged the country the most.

“Despite rampant killing, abductions and extortions, not a single perpetrator has been executed for these heinous crimes, as the government’s writ seems nowhere in the country,” he said and added the PTI would unite the people of Pakistan and a revolution would hold sway in the country.

Imran Khan vowed that the people were well-aware of their political tactics; hence they would face the masses’ wrath in the forthcoming general elections. He said that the people have to join the PTI for a real change in the country. He said that PTI became the first democratic party of the country that held intra-party polls.

Expressing his wonder, Imran Khan said that the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was allies of Zardari for the last five-year and now the Maulana had sided with Nawaz to win next polls.

“The rulers are becoming billionaires, while the nation is becoming poorer with each passing day,” the PTI Chairman maintained.

He said that Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif’s assets were in foreign accounts, so how they could talk about the problems of the masses.

Imran Khan said that apolitical and neutral individual should be appointed as caretaker prime minister.

He said that the PTI would hold a historical public gathering of the country on March 23 at Minar-e-Pakistan, adding that the PTI would unite the nation to get the country rid from the sectarianism, adding that the PTI tsunami would hit Peshawar on March 10.

“The rulers have made a historical mistake by plunging the country, people and the army into the US war of terrorism in which over 5 million people has lost their lives,” Imran Khan observed.

The PTI after coming into power would disengage from the US-led war and would unshackle the fetters of the US slavery once and for all, the PTI Chairman vowed.

Imran Khan said that if the PTI was voted to power it would create a new Pakistan free from external influence and interference, wherein the youth would be provided ample employment opportunities.

Expressing his agony, Imran Khan said that the profit earning institution —Steel Mill, at present facing Rs. 50 billion deficit, adding that rulers brought the country on the verge of bankruptcy and collapse.

“There is rampant corruption in the country, which is increasing at alarming pace with each passing day, but no one is there who could take action against the responsible, as the rulers and opposition are busy in playing mock-wrestling for the last five-year to protect their own interest, as they are little concerned to deal with the seething problems being faced by the country,” Imran Khan added.

The PTI Chairman said that owing to sky-rocketing inflation and rampant corruption, the poor were struggling to make both ends meet, vowing that the PTI would put an end on corruption and would bring foreign investment.

The PTI activists through intra-party polls could expel the corrupt leaders out of the party, adding that election would be held for each and every slot of the party.

Terming the PML-N as a family-limited party, Imran Khan said that first the two brothers were ruling the country and now their children are in the line to rule the country.

He said that the both the family-limited political parties were trying to break the country, as they damaged the country the most by putting the country in the war of others.

The PTI would start its election campaign from March 23 after holding oath-taking public gathering in Lahore, he said, adding that the people would not vote those to power again who were busy in underhand deal.

Imran Khan made it clear that the PTI after coming into power would not only eradicate terrorism, sectarianism, unemployment and poverty from the country, but would also restore the respect of the green passport globally.

If the youth backed him in the next general polls, Imran Khan vowed that he would bring about real change in the country by taking two wickets with one ball.
