Lala Musa: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira on Thursday said that the government always favoured holding dialogue with the people, who respected the Constitution and law of the land.question
While Talking to public gathering here, Kaira said, “The government has always supported the idea of holding talks with the people, who accept the government’s writ and the Constitution”.
He said the government had a clear stance that terrorism should be dealt with three “Ds” i.e., development, dialogue and deterrence.
He said that all the political and religious forces wanted peace in the country and elimination of the menace of terrorism.
Kaira said the political parties having no representation in the Parliament to devise a policy for elimination of terrorism.All political parties were part of the government. Consequent to the steps taken by the government, there is no safe haven for terrorists in the country, he added.
Answering a , he said the government was taking steps to enforce the parliamentary resolutions.
