A delegation of journalists of Sukkur Press Club visits Lahore

Lahore: A 31-member delegation of journalists of Sukkur Press Club which is visiting Lahore travelled by metro bus from Gajjumata to Azadi Chowk today. Talking on the occasion, the head of the delegation Lala Asad Pathan said that Punjab govt deserve credit for providing international standard, affordable and rapid travelling facilities to the citizens. He said that other provinces should also initiate such projects.He wished other provinces also have services like metro bus.

District Administration hosted a reception in the honour of members of the delegation at Hazoori Bagh which was attended by District Coordination Officer Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, Director General Public Relations Punjab Athar Ali Khan and other officers. DCO Lahore gave a briefing to the delegation on metro bus project. He said that international standard travelling facilities have been made available to the masses in a short period of one year. Later, the members of the delegation also visited Shalimar Garden.
